Does a vacant property, including unsecured and open property, need to be registered?
The Code Enforcement Department is not currently requiring vacant buildings to be registered. However, it is requiring that all vacant property shall have posted the name and 24-hour contact phone number of a local property management company under Section 14-505 Part C. of Article XI - Maintenance, Security, and Rehabilitation of Abandoned and Vacant Property found here.
