Lieutenant Pust Career
Lieutenant Eddie Pust started his career with the City of Hemet Police Department in 1996. In 1999, he was assigned to a multi-agency Narcotic Task Force, where he worked with many allied agencies at the local, state, and federal level. After the assignment, Lieutenant Pust returned to the Hemet Police Department where he was assigned and instrumental in the development of the Crime Suppression Unit. Lieutenant Pust promoted to corporal where he was assigned to patrol and later promoted to Sergeant in the patrol division where he served as a watch commander. In 2014, Lieutenant Eddie Pust was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to the Operations Bureau where he oversaw the Patrol Division and the Communications Bureau.  In 2016, Lieutenant Pust was assigned to the Investigations Bureau where he supervises the Detective Bureau, the PACT Team, and Gang Task Force.

Positions Held
Lieutenant Eddie Pust began his career with the City of Hemet Police Department in 1996. He has been a S.W.A.T. operator for 15 years, Captain of Hemet Police Department’s Baker to Vegas relay team, board member of Hemet Police Officer’s Association, and is currently a board member of the Police Management Association. He was assigned to Inland Crackdown Allied (INCA) a multi-agency narcotics task force, a member & supervisor of Hemet Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit (CSU), supervised the AB-109 Task Force, was the Coordinator of Hemet PD’s Field Training Program, and has been involved for several years with the Recruiting Team.

Lieutenant Eddie Pust holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University - Fullerton, a POST Management Certificate, and a Masters Degree from California State University Northridge in Public Administration.
