Lieutenant BrockCareer
Lieutenant Brock began his law enforcement career as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Riverside County Sheriff Department in 1996.  In 1998, he began working as a full time sworn police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department working a variety of assignments throughout the city.  Lieutenant Brock came to the Hemet Police Department in 2006 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2017.  He now manages the Hemet Police Department Support Services Division which consists of our Communication Bureau, Records Bureau, Professional Standards Unit, Community Services Bureau, and Traffic Bureau. 

Positions Held

Lieutenant Brock has worked a wide variety of assignments ranging from patrol to undercover narcotics.  While at the Hemet Police Department Lieutenant Brock has served as a field training officer, an Explorer Advisor, and School Resource Officer.  Lieutenant Brock currently oversees the Hemet Police Department Defensive Tactics Training Cadre, works as a defensive tactics instructor, De- Escalation instructor, Tactical Communications Instructor, and Master Taser Instructor.  He has also worked as a patrol watch commander and has been the team leader for the Hemet Police Department’s Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT).

Lieutenant Brock holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University, a POST Supervisory Certificate, and is a graduate of the POST Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute.  Lieutenant Brock is also certified as a Force Science Analyst by the Force Science Institute.
